We feel completely blessed with the wonderful people that we have had the privilege of meeting and helping find their new family members so firstly we would like to say a huge thank you to them.
Saying that, its always nice to see what our puppy owners have to say about us.. have a look below at our testimonials
A bit of a long one... We lost our two beloved miniature smooth haired dachshunds last year and we were devastated. They had been part of our lives for so long and we vowed we would never have another dog and put ourselves through the grief again. But as the months went on we realised we missed having a dachshund in our home. So the search for a good reputable breeder began. In April 2018, I started to ask around and Jo was recommended frequently. We even went on a local sausage dog beach walk and spoke to owners (we were the only family without a dachshund and we felt like dodgy stalkers). I signed onto various Facebook dachshund pages and again Jo’s name kept being recommended. So at the beginning of May, I contacted her. I explained our history of recently losing our dachshunds, what we were looking for and our ideal timescale. We were chuffed when we said she would pop us on her waiting list. In June she contacted us to say she had a litter due mid July. She sent photos and updates on the pregnancy progressing. When the pups were born, we had regular photos and pupdates. We really looked forward to these and it made us feel part of the pups lives already. Jo was answered all my questions. She was helpful and understanding of our excitement. We visited the puppy in August and were smitten. Jo gave us advice on preparing for the puppy at home, raw feeding and how to transport the puppy home.
We collected the puppy at 8 weeks in September. A little chocolate bitch. Jo was amazing. We felt confident and happy in our choice of breeder. She is knowledgeable, well respected and clearly adores her dogs. So Peggy travelled an hour and a half home with us. She slept. Since she has been home with us, she has been fantastic. She is now 11 weeks old. So loving, playful and fun. She sleeps and eats well. Toilet training is work in progress and she is so willing to please. She loves playing and digging in the garden and enjoys her little car rides with me. I’m new to raw feeding and we are doing ok. I can’t recommend Jo enough. We adore Peggy. My two young children are enjoying the responsibility of caring for a puppy. My husband says it’s great to have a little sausage hound back in our lives. And I agree. Thank you Jo. 2018
Update: Rachel and family have now welcomed Walter into their pack and what a good looking bunch they are. 2019

Reggie and Charlotte
It was evident from the very first visit to see Reggie that Dan and Jo are an incredibly caring breeders who absolutely love their puppies. From allowing me to spend plenty of time getting to know Reggie to sending me updates and pictures they really helped me to feel part of his progress up until the day he came home.
When I picked him up they gave me a puppy pack to help him settle in at his new home, including a toy, food and a flannel he was used to with familiar smells, which has been invaluable in helping him settle in. The level of detail and care they took to make sure he was set up for his new home was brilliant. Not only this but the mother of the litter Dandy has one of the sweetest natures I’ve ever come across in a dog and that is in no small part down to being brought up so well by Dan, Jo and family. I have no doubt all the puppies from her litter will have such lovely natures themselves.
I feel very lucky to have found them and to have got my little Reggie from them. I feel sure that he had the very best start in life.
We are so smitten with Reggie we hope to get another puppy from Lodargeo in the near future.
I stumbled upon Lodargeo when looking for another dachshund to add to our existing dachshund-mad household. My addition had to be a super healthy bitch that I could show in the ring as was keen to learn from scratch with a puppy. Upon my research I found that the Logans were very particular about the lines in which they breed and is incredibly passionate about the health/longevity of our breed. Which was wonderful to see.
Lottie was chosen! I was the proud owner of beautiful chocolate and tan bitch. To this day I still feel fortunate to have been picked by Jo and Dan as the new owner of Lottie. I was asked numerous questions by them before being chosen, I was only too happy to answer, yet again another reassurance that this was the perfect breeder for my next family member.
Lottie has the most amazing level head, great confirmation, along with a wonderful and confident personality (not to mention how loving she is!). She is proving the perfect partner in the show ring. She has been incredibly easy to train and I truly believe her trainability and willing nature is due to the very best start she was given. At times I felt like I was stalking by email (haha) as I was keen to see the gorgeous puppy that I had chosen but not once did they get fed up with me or get frustrated at answering my hundreds of questions and requests for more pictures. Jo and Dan are both experienced and educated and advised me on points which now have proven invaluable. To this day I still speak to Jo frequently as I value her professional and honest opinion. I know there will come a time when I have another dachshund from Lodargeo. I can't help but admire their breeding programme and understanding of the breed itself. It's just a matter of time with convincing the husband! Haha Thank you for giving us Lottie, the perfect addition to our family xx 2016
You were recommended to me while I was searching for my first Daxi boy. I wanted a Black and Tan smooth Mini and we already had his name fixed - Ralph. By some kind of God sent fate, they had a 7 week old pup for sale that had just become available the day before (as the owners situation had sadly changed) who they'd been calling Ralph. Can you believe that?
They were brilliant, answered all my questions (and asked me lots too) and sent me lots of pictures while I patiently waited for my pick up date. We discussed everything from his health check results to what he was eating. I met Ralphs Mum, Dad and siblings. It was a brilliant experience from start to finish.
Ralph is my world. He's been a member of our family for 7 weeks (he's only 15 weeks old at time of writing this) and I love him dearly. He has a wonderful personality, has brought joy to our home and is a healthy, happy, gorgeous little boy.
I've no doubt I'll get another Daxi next year - and I wouldn't go anywhere else to purchase our next new puppy!! 2016
Update: Jane now has 4 boys, three being from us and we are so happy to be able to get updates on them all :-)
